Deal #1: The first are the Floral Beauty Earrings (etsy listing). SO PRETTY! Much better than my picture shows.
Deal #2: Is the New Twist on Java Blue Necklace and Earrings Set (etsy listing). This set is one of my favorites. I love the Java Blue pattern by Vera Bradley and I love the brown and blue color combination in so many things! This set is no exception. Deal #3: Raspberry Sorbet 2 Pendant. (etsy listing) A beautiful pendant made to be strung on a silver chain or choker. The colors just pop! I make a lot of these pendants, and they are so fun to wear. They really add to your outfit! That's it for now, I'm off to the BEACH!! Talk to you all on Tuesday evening! Have a great few days!

It's a Jungle out there!

Today's deal of the day is my awesome bangle bracelet which I titled "It's a Jungle Out There!" because of the fabulous green and brown colors in this gorgeous glass focal bead. Green and Brown are among my favorite colors and I just love these hammered silver (straight from Thailand) bangle tubes. I love bangle bracelets, and this is my version. They offer a little movement, and lots of "charm". You know I add charms to almost everything. It's what I do. :) If you'd like to see the details of this one on Etsy, click here!

Anyway, just a quick note to say that I'll be gone on a small vacation from tomorrow until Tuesday evening. I may or may not have access to the Internet, so what I'll try to do tomorrow is list 3 deals, one for each day that I'm gone and you will have your choice as to which you'd like. That way I stay on track with my deal of the day and you all still get a chance to grab a one of a kind piece for a great bargain!
To leave you in a happy mood, not that a sale wont leave you in a happy mood... but I took this awesome picture the other day of a Lilly in my garden. It was at daybreak, and the sun was coming in and lighting it up from behind. I just think it is so pretty! I love Lilly's, Calla's are my favorite, and if they would grow here I would have them everywhere!

One more quickie to leave you feeling warm and fuzzy... would you just look at my Bruce...He is my new computer buddy, he sits with me every time I'm here. Looking at this picture reminds me that I need to get out the can of air to remove the fur from my keyboard now! But he's so cute, nonetheless!
Hope you have a great day!

TGIF!

Friday's here! Thank goodness! The kids have been so excited to go to the beach for the past few days that they can hardly contain themselves! They will leave tomorrow with Clay and I'll follow for a couple days starting Sunday. Then I'll be back... ALONE! YAY! I'll have three days all to myself of just jewelry making and relaxing. Man, could I use the break!

Today, I am offering the Deep Blue Sea necklace and earring set as the deal of the day. This set is so pretty in person, much better than my picture shows. This is one of those sets I photographed inside on a rainy day and never got around to re-doing it when the sun came out. But I think the colors are so pretty in these glass beads. There's a TON of Hill Tribe Silver in this necklace too. Be sure to check it out! Thanks for stopping by!

A few day's of rain...

We're expecting nothing but rain for the next couple of days here. Ugh, I hate rain. I know it's good for the flowers and all that, but it really puts a damper on the kids playing, my husbands landscaping business and me photographing jewelry or anything else for that matter. Oh well, life goes on!

At Ann's request, I would like to brighten the day with today's deal! She selected the Garden Party Earrings as the special today! A great pair of handwrapped beauties featuring lime green and pink! There's some bright colors for you! I hope you like them! Click here to see them in their full glory. Check back tomorrow for more!

Wednesday's News!

Good morning all! I had to take my new kittens to the vet this morning for their second round of shots so I just got back and am ready to post today's deal of the day! It's the Summertime Fiesta pendant! So cool! I have a ton of these types of pendants in all different colors. I wear them all the time. I actually just got in some stainless steel chokers to string these on, so if you like this and you don't have a silver chain, let me know and I'll give you an added deal on the choker! You can click here to be brought right to it!

Also, my computer monitor crapped out yesterday morning. I was working on some pictures and then it started - the screen started shaking, and going in and out... it was making me quite seasick to look at it! So I unplugged it, ran upstairs to get my "spare" that I have never used but it came with the computer and plugged that in. The one I am used to is 19", and the spare is 15", so you do the math. In a little over 2 hours I was so cranky from squinting and hunching over to look at this TINY monitor that I went on Best Buy's website to see what was on sale. I drove up there and came home with a 22" flat panel LCD monitor! Yay! You should see this thing! It's bigger than my TV! But only takes up a little space on my desk. So my jewelry pictures look larger than life now! I love the colors in the monitor too, I hope they show up the same way for you all! OK, I'm off to get ready to take the kids for their haircuts now... Cinderella! I'm being beckoned again! Talk to you later!

Tuesday's Deal, or should I say STEAL?

Sorry for the late post, the kiddo's had doctor's appointments first thing this morning and I had to drive cross country to get them there! I sometimes forget that CT is not a "small" state. Anyway, today's deal is the Daisy bracelet from my shop. I have one of these bracelets myself. It was inspired by a customer who wanted a bracelet for a gift for someone who loved daisy's and was pretty much a 60's type girl. The original bracelet was made with pewter Peace Sign beads and one that had the word Peace on it as well. But the one I made for myself, along with this one have beautiful floral pewter rounds in it instead of the peace signs. I can't believe the prices of these pieces I am putting on sale. I am shocked every time I post the discounted price. This one is a Steal! Go here to check it out! This bracelet really needs a good home! It's so pretty and is tired of hanging out in my office. It wants to LIVE on someone's wrist! I hope you enjoy it!

Monday's Deal of the Day!

Today's Deal of the day... wow, this is a great bracelet with one of my favorite kind of beads that only Melissa makes. This piece went so well with gold, so this is one of the few pieces that I have that feature the gold tone spacers and clasp. So if you like gold and fall colors, (olive green and brown), this is the bracelet for you! A great deal today! I hope you'll check it out! Click here to be brought right to it on Etsy.

I have a craft fair that I really need to start preparing for on September 11, 2008. I am going to start trying to make a piece a day again starting today and running straight through. I think this is going to be the start of a busy jewelry making session to get ready for the holiday's. After all, they really are RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER! Oh my gosh, I can't even believe I just said that out loud! Anyway, stay tuned for lots of new things, to be previewed here on my blog as usual. I may or may not be posting everything up for sale in the store, as I need to get my inventory set for the show but you can always email me for a custom listing if you see something you love and would like to purchase!

Have a great day!

Prototype

Ok, here is the bracelet that I have been working on today. This is just a prototype, because it is far too big, so I need to redo it in a normal size. I got carried away with the braided part. In case you are wondering, the braided part is called Kumihimo, which is a Japanese braiding process, quite fun and addicting! I used a great big Kazuri bead and matching seed beads with some Bali silver twists and floating rings plus bead caps on the ends. Before I make more of these, let me know what you think? They are really cool... yes, Ann wants one! ha ha Leave me a comment with your opinion, I would love to hear from you!

Thanks Carey!

Aha! Now there's a girl with an eye for a bargain! Carey grabbed the Deal of the Day yesterday...who's next?

I'm working on something new, it's a process. A piece that will include something I have never offered before... interested? I hope to have it finished and posted tomorrow! Come back and check it out! Hope you are having a great Saturday!

Ocean themed evening!

Ann and I sat down last night and first cleaned my office. It was a DISASTER!!! But now everything is in it's home and ready to be used in creations such as these...

We made everything ocean related last night. None of these pieces will be anywhere for sale, as they are Ann's payment for her hard work with me at the wedding. However, I can recreate any of these styles with beads of your choosing. I have a TON of beads to share with you all, just waiting for the inspiration!

The first is made with Catherine Ondrey's Monet Blue glass beads. Of course, we added all kinds of sea life charms and even a Fish Hill Tribe Clasp! I believe this will be one of Ann's favorite daily bracelets.

Next, we have the Ocean Wave series of beads made by Heather Powers of Humblebeads. These are clay beads that are truly one of a kind. I made the necklace and matching bracelet and earrings with Swarovski Crystals in Pacific Opal, Chrysolite and Indicolite. It's a killer set, isn't it??

The last, but most definitely not least is our FABULOUS Sassy O's from Carey of Sassy Stoppers! I used seed beads in the best colors to make a wonderful lightweight necklace. This one is Ann's, but mine will be made to match (yes, I have one too!) as soon as I get more seed beads, I kinda ran out!

OK, that's all for now... be sure to check back tomorrow as I have some free time to create today! Have a good one!
